Population explosion in India, Pakistan

"Population and work force are asset of Nation", these words have scope in politician rally only. If you think wisely alarming population is biggest threat for south asian counties like India and Pakistan. Population size, growth rate, and its composition play an vital role in the social and economic development of a country. It plays crucial role for drafting the plans, framework of economic policies and judging the growth and development. Moreover population is biggest policy and plan spoiler in these countries. India and Pakistan is among those developing countries where population growth is fairly high. The major cause behind higher growth rate is high fertility rate and social structures. The population journey of Delhi and Karchi brings with Delhi having twice population of Karachi but Now now condition is reverse.
Consider the example of Delhi, India's 2nd most populous city after Mumbai. The total population of Delhi as per the provisional figures is 16753235 comprising 8976410 males and 7776825 females as com pared to the total population as per census 2001 of 13850507. The decadal growth of population for Delhi has decli ned from 51.45% in 1981-91 to 47.02% in 1991-2001 to 20.96 in 2001-2011. The average annual exponential growth rate of populatio n of Delhi during 2001-2011 has been recorded as 1.92%.  Now comes the most alarming condition of Karachi, Pakistan where population becomes double each 10 years in most of census. According to new Pakistan Economic Survey 2013-14, at present it is the sixth most populous country in the world with projected population of 188 million. Karachi is the largest and most populous metropolitan city in Pakistan and the capital of Sindh province. In 2014, Karachi has an estimated population of more than 23.7 million, which makes it the third-largest city in the world by population within the city limits, the 7th largest urban agglomeration and the largest city in the Muslim world. The worst part is neither it has too much employment nor resources. India and pakistan must take a lesson bring some family planning programme with 1 Child or 2 child policy to make it better place to live for generations.
