Changes in Civil Services Exam 2015

No change in civil prelims pattern; aptitude test to be party of civil services examination 2015 as per press release issued by government on 13th May 2015. Government has approved the following in respect of Civil Services Examination:
• An Expert Committee would be constituted to comprehensively examine various issues raised from time to time namely, eligibility, syllabus, scheme and pattern of Civil Services Examination.
• Till such time the Government takes decision on the recommendation of the above Committee, the General Studies Paper-II(CSAT) in the Civil Services(Preliminary) Examination will remain a qualifying paper with a minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
• The English Language comprehension skill portion from General Studies Paper-II of Civil Services(Preliminary) Examination will continue to remain excluded.
• The above decisions are incorporated in the CSE Rules-2015.

UPSC Civil Services (Main) Exam Results 2013 declared

UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination Results 2013 is declared On the basis of the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2013 held by the Union Public Service Commission in December, 2013, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified for Personality Test for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).
Candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects.  Personality Test of these candidates is likely to commence from 7th April, 2014. Personality Tests will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. The date and time of Personality Test is being intimated to the qualified candidates individually.
